Kimmo Vehkalahti
Bio
Kimmo Vehkalahti is a Fellow of the Teachers’ Academy, University of Helsinki, Finland. He has been a part of the faculty of Social Sciences for over 30 years, currently as Senior University Lecturer of Social Data Science.
Kimmo is author of a Finnish text book on measurement and survey methods ( Kyselytutkimuksen mittarit ja menetelmät , downloaded over 90'000 times since Aug 2019) and co-author (with Brian S. Everitt) of an international text book on Multivariate Analysis for the Behavioral Sciences (Chapman & Hall/CRC, 2019).
Since 2021, Kimmo has been the Director of the international Master’s Programme in Contemporary Societies , where one of the study tracks is Social Data Science.
