Maria Valaste

Bio

Maria Valaste is a Senior University Lecturer at the Centre for Social Data Science (CSDS), University of Helsinki. Her work focuses on survey methodology and social data science, with particular emphasis on complex survey and register data. She contributes to collaboration in survey statistics through the Baltic–Nordic–Ukrainian ( BNU ) network. In addition, she is actively involved in research infrastructure and methodological development.
